I graduated from the university of Hanover in 2000 and started my career in general practice while completing my doctoral thesis.

After moving to the UK in 2003 I worked in various small animal practices in the Northwest. During those early years I realised that I am not only a dedicated cat owner, I am also equally committed to providing the best possible care to my feline patients.

 

Spending several years in a cats only practice allowed me to focus on cats’ wellbeing and led me to open The Mobile Cat Vet in 2017 where I can realise my goal of bringing a calm holistic veterinary experience to cats in the comfort of their homes.

 

I never get tired of learning more about this unique species. My special interests include senior cat care, feline shelter medicine and infectious diseases. Alongside day-to-day work I have been involved with multiple Animal Rescue Centres over the years and always seek the best outcome for those battle scared felines which hold a special place in my heart.
